BOOKING & PAYMENT - Please e-mail or telephone to check availability before sending a deposit. All bookings should be made on the form provided (either printed from the website or we will send you one)
Bookings are confirmed only on receipt of the deposit of one third of the full rental value. Telephone bookings will be held as provisional bookings for one week only and must be confirmed in writing immediately. Cheques should be made payable to Loch Garten Lodges.
Subject to the acceptance of the booking, you become liable for the full balance of the rental + security deposit of £50.00 no later than 6 weeks prior to arrival. Should a booking be made within 6 weeks of arrival, full payment must be made at time of booking. Failure to pay the balance of rent by the due date will be treated as cancellation. Please note no reminders will be sent.
The signing of the booking form is your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions.
A SECURITY DEPOSIT - of £50 is payable with the balance of the rent. You are responsible for any loss or damage and extra cleaning incurred as a result of your stay. The security deposit will be posted back to you, less any deductions during the week after your departure.
CANCELLATIONS - You are liable for the full hire of the lodge, unless you cancel in writing more than 28 days before the let was due to start, when the deposit will be retained. If full payment is not received by us by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking with no refund of deposit.
INSURANCE - You are strongly recommended to take out Holiday Insurance to cover loss or damage to personal effects and cancellation expenses. We insure our lodge against fire, etc. but under no circumstances can we be held laible for any loss or damage to your luggage, jewellery or other property or personal effects.
LODGE LET - This will normally be on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday. Entry is at 4.00 pm on the day of arrival and ends at 10 am on the day of departure. Where a late arrival is planned it is essential that we are notified in advance otherwise no responsibility will be accepted for any arrivals outside normal office hours. In no circumstances may the number of people occupying the lodge exceed the number shown in the details of the Booking Form. We reserve the right to refuse entry or revoke the booking if this condition is not observed. The hired lodge shall be used solely for holiday purposes and shall not be sub-let. The owner or his agents or employees are allowed entry to the lodge for all reasonable purposes.
BREAKAGES - These will be charged to you and must be reported in order that the item(s) may be replaced before the arrival of the new holidaymaker. The lodge and contents must be kept in a clean and tidy condition by you.
LINEN - Sheets/Pillowslips, Towels and Tea Towels will be provided. Beds will be made up to welcome you on arrival.
LOST/FORGOTTEN PROPERTY - We are happy to forward such items to you subject to payment of postage as required.
